With its prime suburban location, "just 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan," Greenwich is home to many hedge funds and financial firms, hence high-paying jobs, said Money magazine.
Much income is needed, said the Money magazine report, noting how the town's median income for a family was $136,032 in 2014, adding, "You need every bit of that paycheck" to live there. According to Money magazine, the median home price is almost $1 million.
But the price tag yields a lot, said the Money magazine article, which cites "top-notch" schools and sites like Babcock Preserve and beaches at Greenwich Point among things to do.
