Lifelong Byram resident Mildred "Millie" Jordan Hutcheon, who had worked at the Family Center of Greenwich, died Feb. 19. She was 85.
Hutcheon graduated from Greenwich High School in 1945 and was later employed by RB&W, a hardware manufacturer in Port Chester, N.Y. She retired after working as an office administrator at Greenwich Family Center. In her free time, Hutcheon enjoyed gardening, dancing, visiting local beaches and attending concerts at Binney Park.
She is survived by her daughters Gail Young, Sally Sluga and Linda Hutcheon Glines; and four grandchildren and several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband George.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, N.Y.
