GREENWICH, Conn. Martha Marron, a lifelong Riverside resident, died Tuesday at Greenwich Hospital. She was 80 years old.
Marron graduated from Greenwich High School in 1948, after which she began working as a secretary for the Town of Greenwich and later the Greenwich Board of Education. Marron was a member of the Greenwich Womans Club and served on the Greenwich High class of 1948 reunion committee. Marron loved playing bridge, going to the beach, swimming and traveling.
Martha was predeceased by her husband, Robert P. Marron. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Marron Dudas and husband, George Dudas; a son, Peter Marron and his wife, JoAnn; and three grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Dudas and Lindsey Marron, and step-grandson Travis Pyka.
A Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave. in Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 38 Richards Ave. Norwalk, Conn.
