Marion Drabeck, Longtime Greenwich Resident

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church for former longtime Greenwich resident Marion Drabeck. She died March 15 in Tamarac, Fla., one month shy of her 90th birthday.

Drabeck lived in Greenwich for 73 years before moving to Florida. She worked at Electrolux for 20 years. In her earlier years she worked at Chaspec and Greenwich School cafeteria.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara McGlynn and her husband, James, of Tamarac, Janice Perri and her husband, David, of Greenwich, Debbie Wood and her husband, Barry, of Greenwich, and Michele Drabeck of Fort Lauderdale; a brother, John Spadaro of Greenwich; a sister, Louise Burns of Greenwich; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Dominick and Frank Spadaro, and a sister, Catherine Branstrom.
