GREENWICH, Conn. Greenwich Police are investigating an incident in Old Greenwich Friday where a man approached a young boy and told him he was supposed to drive him home.
Five middle school boys were playing in a yard in Old Greenwich when a man in an older, dark-colored SUV drove up and told one of the boys he was there to pick him up and drive him home, according to Lt. Kraig Gray, spokesman for the Greenwich Police Department.
The boy did not get into the vehicle and the man left. He was described as white, in his 50s or 60s, with white hair and possibly glasses. The vehicle may have been an SUV or truck with a cab on the back. It had numerous stickers on the rear driver's side window, and at least one was a pink Vineyard Vine whale.
The department is looking to interview this person. Anyone with information should call 203-622-8003.
