Man Held in Greenwich on Mass. Sex Assault Charge

GREENWICH, Conn. – A Pleasantville, N.Y., man wanted on a warrant for sexual assault in Massachusetts was taken into custody in Greenwich Friday, police reported.  

Officers were called to Riverside Shopping Plaza on a report that a man had ripped the  windshield wiper arm off a car in the parking lot. When Sean Connolly, 40, of 35 Madison Avenue, was given a misdemeanor summons for criminal mischief, investigators found there was a warrant out for his arrest from Worcester, Mass.

Connolly was taken into custody and charged as a fugitive from justice. He was being held on a $100,000 bond. He was also issued a promise to appear in court on Nov. 18 for the criminal mischief summons.
