A Norwalk man has been arrested on new charges of identity theft, larceny, forgery, issuing a bad check and criminal impersonation. Greenwich police obtained a warrant for Eric Christian, 27, as part of an investigation stemming from his arrest last month in Las Vegas. He reportedly stole checks, money and the identity of a Greenwich resident. Investigators said the thefts were committed via wire transfers of funds. Members of the Greenwich department and the Connecticut Financial Crimes Task Force arrested Christian Thursday morning at his home at 102 Washington St., Norwalk. Greenwich Lt. Kraig Gray said Christian resisted arrest and is now in custody with further charges pending. Police said Christian will likely face charges for resisting arrest and charges relating to items found on his person when he was taken into custody. He is being held on $250,000 bond and will appear in court Aug. 13.
