A Brooklyn man was arrested Friday at Walgreens on East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich trying to fill fraudulent drug prescriptions, police reported. Troy Andrae John, 38, of 1588 Sterling Place was accused of trying to fill fake prescriptions for oxycodone and Xanax. He was arrested on charges of criminal attempt at possession of narcotics, criminal attempt at possession of controlled substance and three counts of forged prescription. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court on April 22.

? Ashley Lynn Pedrosa, 22, of 9 Walnut St. in Cos Cob, and Mario Peralta, 23, of 37 Summit Ave. in Port Chester, were arrested Sunday. Police said the two were arguing in a car on Sheephill Road and the dispute turned physical. Pedrosa hit Peralta in the face, giving him a bloody nose, officers said. Police found a small bag of marijuana and a small glass pipe in Pedrosas purse. She was charged with disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana under four ounces and was released on $1,000 bond. Peralta was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court. Both were set to appear in court Monday.
? A 47-year-old Greenwich man was charged with hitting a woman with a phone during a domestic incident Sunday after she refused to give him money. A neighbor told police the man said the incident was an accident. He was issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court Monday.
? Carlos Emigdio Leiva, 38, of 85 Stillwater Ave. in Stamford was arrested in Greenwich Sunday on DWI charges after a car accident on East Putnam Avenue. He failed field sobriety tests and was released on a $250 bond. He is due in court on April 18.
