Man Charged With Intent To Sell Pot in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — A town man was arrested Saturday when he was found with marijuana in plastic baggies during a traffic stop, police said.

Willie Aurioles, 24, of 106 Spruce St., second floor, was a passenger in a car stopped at Henry Street and Byram Street. The driver, Ramiro Gudino, did not have a valid license and was cited.

Police then searched Aurioles, who police said appeared “extremely anxious.” They found nine bags of marijuana in his right pocket and a cell phone. He was charged with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession with intent to sell.

He was held on $2,500 bond and is due in court Aug. 1.
