A former partner at Greenwich Prime Meats was arrested by warrant Christmas Eve on charges of harassing the current owner of the business. After James Dadio, of 50 Alvorn Lane, Stamford, was bought out of the after having a tumultuous business relationship with the victim.
Though a financial agreement was worked out in court, Dadio continued to call the shop and harass the owner, a police report said. After several persistent harassing calls, the current owner contacted police. During the investigation, police allegedly overheard, interrupted a call and ordered Dadio to stop. Minutes later he called, using a fake name and voice, and began harassing the owner. Police told Dadio to stop in three conversations to stop before applying for a warrant and arresting him. He was released on $500 bond and is due in court Jan. 3.

An Old Greenwich resident was arrested Monday on assault charges after several disconnected 911 calls came into the police station. Police determined the man had been physically abusive in an argument about money with three victims. He was arrested on charges of third-degree assault on a person 60 years or older, disorderly conduct, 911 call interfering and third-degree assault. He was held on $1,000 bond and was due in court Tuesday.
