Man Arrested With 30 Vicodin Pills

A Bridgeport man was arrested in Greenwich Tuesday on narcotics charges after he was found in possession of 30 Vicodin pills and an improvised smoking pipe made from a Bic pen. Carl V. Bethea, 20, of 316 Salem St. was a passenger in a motor vehicle stopped on Riverdale Avenue. Bethea was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $5,000 bond and is due in court on Oct. 26.

? Perla Galviz, 23, of 15 Edgewood Drive in Greenwich was arrested last week on a warrant charging her with first degree larceny. The charge stemmed from her refusal to return a rental car from a local rental agency, according to the police report. Galviz was released on a $5,000 bond and was due in court Wednesday.

? Luis Fernando Barrantes, 30, of 167 Halstead Ave. in Harrison was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of marijuana and drug parphernalia. Barrantes was found with a bag of marijuana weighing 1.2 grams and a Dutch Masters cigar during a motor vehicle stop. Barrantes posted a $1,000 bond and is due in court Oct. 26.
