Man Arrested Refuses to be Identified

Ibrahim Mohammad Eideh, 31 of 201 Connecticut Ave. in Stamford was arrested on Tuesday for interfering with an officer. During a motor vehicle stop at East Putnam Avenue, police say Eideh gave officers an Illinois driver's license, which was found to have been given to the DMV in March 2009. The license Eideh gave the officers was a duplicate never handed over, but he continued to claim as a valid license, police said. After being transported to the Greenwich Police Department, Eideh admitted to having a Connecticut driver's license, which he refused to show the officers. He was released after posting a $200 bond and will appear in court on Aug. 11.
