Lost Labradoodle May Be Wandering in Greenwich

A 3-year-old Labradoodle named Bella has been lost and may be in Greenwich, police reported. Meagan Cummings took the female lab/poodle mix to Port Chester Wednesday to visit a friend and Bella ran out of the house. "I am desperately worried about her," Cummings, of Valley Cottage, N.Y., told Greenwich police.

Cummings said Bella may have wandered into Greenwich. She said Bella was wearing a collar with tags and is microchipped. Bella is skittish around strangers and may be difficult to catch, though she is not aggressive toward people or other animals. Cummings warned not to chase Bella if she is seen, but to call. Bella was rescued by Cummings in April, and though she has come a long way, she is still scared by new situations.

If you see Bella, notify Cummings at (609) 706-2508 or email her at Meagan.Cummings@gmail.com, or call the Greenwich Police Department at (203) 622-8000.
