Greenwich resident Lillian W. Arest died Dec. 20. She was 101 years old.
Arest was born on Oct. 1, 1909, in Manchester, England. At the age of 4, she immigrated through Ellis Island with her mother and siblings. She was a regular at the Greenwich Senior Center. Arest enjoyed socializing and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by four children, Peter, Iris, Jeffery and Marsha; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home.
