Kelsey Jean Curley, Greenwich High Grad

GREENWICH, Conn. – Greenwich resident Kelsey Jean Curley, who graduated from Greenwich High School in 2008, died Monday. She was 22.

Curley was born in Greenwich on July 6, 1989, and also attended Greenwich Catholic School. She continued her education in a field she loved and was preparing to start her own business.

She loved to dance, had an eclectic taste in music, and was passionate about the poetry and songs that she wrote. Curley loved the water and spent her childhood summers in Menemsha, Martha’s Vineyard, with her family.  

Curley is survived by her mother and father, Sandi Jean Sherry and Michael Patrick Curley; her siblings Jason, Shayne, Wade and Shelby; and her beloved dog Mr. Beats. She is also survived by Mary Gibbons, grandfather Steve Sherry, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her family will receive friends at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich on Friday, Oct. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity in Kelsey's honor, which will be posted at a later date.
