Justin Bieber's Fisker Karma Sold in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. – The hard-to-get Fisker Karma, the hybrid Justin Bieber received for his 18th birthday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” is sold at Greenwich’s own Miller Motor Cars.

The luxury plug-in hybrid sedan was presented to Bieber as a gift from the teen pop star’s manager, Scooter Braun — who grew up in Greenwich — and singer Usher on the daytime talk show late last week. “Automobile Magazine” recently named the Fisker Karma the "design of the year."

When the solar-paneled electric vehicle is fully charged it burns no fuel for the first 50 miles it drives. It uses a combination of a four-cylinder gasoline engine and a generator that charges two lithium-ion batteries to propel the car.

Miller Motor Cars is currently taking orders for the 2012 Fisker Karma. Though the company’s website asks interested buyers to “call for price,” it is listed elsewhere for anywhere from $96,000 to $102,000.
