John Ingallinera, Wall Street Trader, Manager

John P. Ingallinera, a Wall Street executive, died of cancer at his home in Greenwich on Dec. 18. He was 49.

Ingallinera was born Jan. 14, 1961 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in economics and from the University of Chicago with a master's degree in business administration.

Ingallinera began his career as a high yield trader on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers. From there, he went on to Kidder Peabody and Lehman Brothers. In 2003, he joined Muzinich and Company as the senior portfolio manager.

During his free time, Ingallinera enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, James and Peter; mother Lucretia Ingallinera; and sisters Diana Faillace, Laura Cody and GerriAnn Gillette. He was predeceased by his father, Rosario Ingallinera.

Family and friends may visit the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St., Greenwich, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 469 North St. Burial will follow at Putnam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Catholic Outreach, P.O. Box 815, Flint, MI 48501.
