Homeless Woman Removed from H.S. Grounds

On Wednesday night a homeless woman was taken to Greenwich Hospital after police witnessed erratic and aggressive behavior. The woman was reportedly bathing herself at a water fountain outside Greenwich High School in plain view of kids and families engaging in sports activities. Though she was fully clothed, when police approached her and asked her to leave, she began rambling, attempted to bite an officer and aggressively struck herself. Police were able to restrain her and she was taken to the hospital.

• Kimberly White, 22 of 49 Oak Road, in East Patchogue, N.Y., was arrested on Wednesday for possession of marijuana under 4 ounces. After an officers stopped a car for a tail light being out, he smelled marijuana and questioned White. She removed a plastic bag of marijuana from her pocketbook and gave it to the officer. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 16. The vehicle's driver was given a misdemeanor summons for driving with a suspended license.
