Greenwich's First IT Director To Retire Next Year

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Boris Hutorin, the town of Greenwich's first Director of Information Technology, has announced he will retire, effective July 1, 2014.

Hutorin has overseen all of the town’s advancements in the field of technology over the past decade. 

His contributions to the town include planning for the implementation of CityView software, planning for the installation of the Document Imaging Program, connection of all Fire Stations to the Town’s Municipal Area Network, as well as the establishment of the town’s Wide Area Network. 

Hutorin became an employee of the town in August of 2000 and retires after serving more than 13 years.

"The town appreciates the years of service Mr. Hutorin has given to the community," Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei said in a statement.  "We offer our best wishes to Mr. Hutorin in his retirement."

The search to fill the position of director of Information Technology will begin shortly.
