Greenwich Woman Charged in Vandalism

GREENWICH, Conn. — A Greenwich woman was arrested in vandalism to a car and garage door Wednesday.

A resident at 10 Livingston Place told police the tenant in Apartment 3, Andrea Dorothy Gottfried, 48, vandalized his truck and garage door to his rented space. Police saw writing on the garage door and writing on the driver’s window of a truck as well as a large deep scratch on the left fender.

Gottfried told police she “lost it” over the parking situation and said took a marker and wrote on the truck and garage door. She was issued a summons on a charge of criminal mischief and is due in court Sept. 14.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• Joshua Evans, 24, of 4717 Vestal Parkway E., Vestal, N.Y., was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after police discovered he was living in a residence at 4 Armonk St. that had been posted as “uninhabitable” by the Greenwich Department of Health and Engineering. He was escorted out of the residence and released on a promise to appear in court Sept. 9.
