Greenwich Will Get Reprieve From Heat

GREENWIH, Conn. — The area will cool off Friday as storms move into the area. According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms will break the heat after 4 p.m. Friday, with a high near 79 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent, with new rainfall amounts of a quarter to a half-inch possible.

Friday showers should taper off by 8 p.m. The high will be 65 degrees. By Saturday, clouds will give way to sun with a high of 85 degrees.
