Greenwich United Way Thanks Bank for Donation

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich United Way has announced a gift of $2,500 from the First County United Bank Foundation for its 2010-2011 campaign. “The First County Bank Foundation has been an extraordinary partner with our United Way,” said Greenwich United Way President Stuart Adelberg. “First County allows us to continue our work targeting local needs, mobilizing the community to develop solutions and funding programs that truly change lives.”

Each year, over 650 United Way volunteers research local needs, coordinate the delivery of services and raise funds in an annual campaign to provide support for local services. Besides being a leader of local community planning efforts for the town, the Greenwich United Way is the largest non-governmental source of funding for health and human service programs in Greenwich, the agency said.
