After a 15-year-old girl was transported to Greenwich Hospital with severe intoxication Sunday, another teen was arrested for allowing underage drinking to occur at his mother's home without her knowledge. The teen told police several guests at the house consumed alcohol that had been purchased for them by other underage people. He also told police the 15-year-old girl had drunk vodka and became ill. He was issued a summons on a charge of permitting minor to illegally possess liquor and is due to appear in court Dec. 12.

Brian Steed of 12 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich, was arrested Wednesday after an active arrest warrant was found for him on charges of second-degree failure to appear in court. A relative had requested police check Steed's home after fearing for his welfare after Steed expressed symptoms of depression.
