GREENWICH, Conn. -- Emergency personnel in Greenwich rushed to an accident Friday afternoon near Central Middle School.

A parent told Daily Voice a student from Central was hit by a car on the corner of Indian Rock Lane and Orchard Street. The accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m.

The parent said the female student was whisked away in an ambulance. More details will be reported as they become available.
