Greenwich May Lose Its AAA Credit Rating

GREENWICH, Conn. — Greenwich may lose its AAA bond rating from the credit rating agency Moody’s, according to Greenwich Time.

On Aug. 4, Moody’s put many towns and counties across the country on notice that their top borrowing status could be at risk. Other towns in Fairfield County on the list include Easton, Fairfield, Norwalk, New Canaan, Ridgefield, Westport and Wilton.
