A fight between a 61-year-old man and a Greenwich girl led to the arrest of both on disorderly conduct charges Wednesday. Robert Hill, of 27 Columbus Ave., told police the girl was verbally berating him. When a woman stepped in to mediate, Hill told police, the girl attacked him with her hands, leaving multiple scratches. Hill retaliated by leaving a large scratch on the girl, officers said. Both were released and were due in court Thursday.
Also from the police blotter:
Maria Hernandez, 36, of 42 Henry St., Greenwich, was charged with interfering with a police investigation for lying about her identity, police said. Police received information that Hernandez was wanted on three arrest warrants from Stamford. When they found her Wednesday, Hernandez gave police a pill bottle with someone elses name on the label to disguise her real identity. She was arrested and is being held on a $5,000 bond. She is due in court on Feb. 8.
