A Greenwich resident and doctor was charged Wednesday with evading $30 million in losses for a hedge fund with information he received from another physician, The Associated Press reported.
Joseph Skowron III is accused of obtaining inside information from a French doctor with knowledge of clinical drug trials to benefit his work as a hedge fund analyst.
He was charged Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. No further information was available.
