GREENWICH, Conn. A 45-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on an assault charge Sunday after a neighbor said the man hit him in the face.
The neighbor reported to police that a verbal argument occurred with David Herman, of 246 Milbank Ave., Apt. A. During the argument, the neighbor said Herman hit him on the right side of his face, causing swelling and bruise below his eye. Another witness confirmed the incident. Herman admitted to having an argument in front of his wife and 8-year-old daughter, police said. He was additionally charged with risk of injury to a minor.
Herman was released on $500 bond and is due in court March 19.

Omar Vincent Vitte, 46, of 48 Richland Road, Greenwich, turned himself in Saturday after being advised there was an active warrant for his arrest from February, charging him with disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court March 19.
Arthur J. Foote, 54, of 163 Park Ridge Ave., Stamford, was arrested March 3 on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension and failure to appear in court. Foote was stopped driving in Greenwich when police investigations found an active warrant was out for his arrest. He was released on $500 bond and was due in court Monday.
