Greenwich Issues Update For Hurricane Sandy Recovery

GREENWICH, Conn. – The town of Greenwich announced Saturday that it remains in a state of emergency.

The town's website says the Department of Health and the American Red Cross have consolidated their shelters to one location at Eastern Middle School in Riverside. 

Greenwich residents can recharge electronic devices at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The sheltering facility at Eastern Middle School will continue to operate around the clock. For more information on sheltering or the reception center, call the non-emergency hotline at (203) 622-8000.
