Greenwich High Student Admits Fighting

A Greenwich High School teen admitted to police he had engaged in a fight with another student that resulted in an injury late last month. The male juvenile was arrested Tuesday after telling police he was involved in the Sept. 24 fight at Greenwich High in which another student sustained a cut on his right ear. The teen was issued a juvenile summons on charges of third-degree assault and will appear in court Oct. 19.

• Porsha Hammet, 23, of 8 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, was arrested in Greenwich on Sunday on charges of driving with a suspended license. Hammet had been driving her white Mercury over the speed limit when police stopped her and discovered her license had been suspended in July. She was arrested on charges of traveling fast and operating under suspension. She posted a $250 bond and is due in court Oct. 14.

• Nicole Caldwell, 27, of 27 Havemeyer Lane, Greenwich, was arrested Tuesday after police located her on an outstanding warrant for charges of third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and two counts of conspiracy. She was held on a $5,000 bail and was to appear in court the same day.
