A Greenwich resident was the victim of identity theft after a person made a fraudulent credit card transaction in their name at Saks Fifth Avenue worth thousands of dollars.
Greenwich police said they are reviewing surveillance video after the resident reported to store security that someone had charged a $312 jacket and a $2,400 Gucci handbag on Friday while they were out of town, according to Lt. John Slusarz.
Slusarz said the charges are under investigation.
