Greenwich Closes Schools, Cancels Meetings

With nearly a foot of snow already in Greenwich, officials are urging residents and workers to stay home and off the roads Wednesday. We will be regularly updating this list with closures and postponements.

School closures:

? Greenwich Public Schools

? Greenwich Catholic 

? Convent of the Sacred Heart

? Greenwich Academy

? Brunswick School

Meetings and Businesses:

? Bank of America is closed

? Greenwich, Byram and Cos Cob Libraries are closed. There will be no fines for items due today.

? Annual Legislative Forum: Environmental Priorities for Connecticut's General Assembly, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 7:45 a.m., has been postponed to a later date.

? Jessica Bram's author talk for the Greenwich Arts Council, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 12, has been postponed to Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

? Greenwich Rely for Life kickoff meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m., has been postponed to Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m.

? The public information meeting for the Shore Road Bride Rehabilitation, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 12, has been postponed to Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Mazza room in Town Hall.
