GREENWICH, Conn. Greenwich Police were investigating the reported theft of the collection of money from the Sunday Masses at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside.
There were several parishioners we spoke to who provided information on what transpired and we have a pretty good lead, said Lt. Kraig Gray, spokesman for the department.
Investigators are unsure of the amount of money that was in the offering because there were many checks made out to the church, Gray said.
