Greenwich Charges Man With Faking Oxycodone Rx

GREENWICH, Conn. – A Bronx, N.Y., man was arrested in Greenwich Monday after he tried to fill a fraudulent prescription for oxycodone at the Greenwich Avenue CVS Pharmacy, police said.

Jose I. Correa, 24, of 1531 Vyce Ave., was charged with forgery, criminal attempt at obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and conspiracy at possession of narcotics. He posted a $3,000 bond and is due in court on Oct. 3.

Also from the police blotter:

• A Stamford man was arrested in Greenwich Tuesday and charged with punching his wife in the face in the presence of two children, police said. He was released on a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct and was due in court Tuesday.

• Sandra Colon, 19, of 8 Ridge Place in Greenwich was arrested Monday on a warrant related to a fight at the Armstrong Court housing complex on Sept. 11. She was chargeds with assault and breach of peace and was released on a $500 bond. Colon is due in court on Oct. 3
