GREENWICH, Conn. A cab driver was arrested with narcotics in his car after he was stopped in Greenwich Monday for having a brake light out, police reported.
Nicholas Anthony Scarfone, 27, of 25 Livingston Place, Greenwich, was found with 23 waxpaper folds containing 0.8 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia. A Department of Motor Vehicles query found that Scarfone was driving with a suspended license.
He was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating under suspension and a defective/inoperative brake light.
He was released on a $2,500 bond and is due in court on Monday.

Sean Fitzgerald, 33, of 43 Bailey Lane, Milford, was arrested Wednesday by a bail enforcement agent. He turned Fitzgerald in on a warrant for failing to appear in court after a June incident where he was arrested on charges of illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension, failure to properly display plates, operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to appear in court on Feb. 23 and March 30. He was held on a $2,500 bond and was due in court Wednesday.
