Greenwich Asks For Byram River Flooding Photos

GREENWICH, Conn. - Officials need photographs of flooding to aid a study of the Byram River in Greenwich.

Specifically, the town wants photos of flooding from Hurricane Irene, which hit Aug. 26, 2011, or from the April 15, 2007 storm.

The town and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have been studying how to manage flooding of the river on the New York-Connecticut border.

Residents who have photos or other information can contact James Michel, chief engineer, at 203-622-7767.
