GREENWICH, Conn. Greenwich resident Genevieve (Donahue) Semmelroth died Monday, Nov. 21, at Abbott Terrace Nursing Home. She was 91.
Semmelroth was born in New York City on Dec. 14, 1919, to Arthur and Jenny Donahue. She worked for CBS Corp. and was a longtime resident of Greenwich.
Semmelroth is survived by her son Albert Semmelroth and wife Cheryl; five grandchildren, Suzanne Withington, Warren Withington, Richard Semmelroth, Johanna Semmelroth-Koval, and Christa Maull; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Semmelroth; two brothers Arthur and Eugene Donahue; and daughter Genevieve Withington.
Funeral services were held Nov. 23 at the Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich. Burial followed in Putnam Cemetery in Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Hope Team, 50 Brookside Road, Waterbury, CT 06708-1402.
