FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory overnight from 1 until 9 a.m. Tuesday for towns along the Connecticut shoreline, including Fairfield County.

With temperatures dipping into the mid-to-low 30s overnight, areas of frost can develop. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. 

Areas of frost should thaw quickly Tuesday as the forecast calls for a mostly sunny day with a high temperature only getting to about 50 degrees, according to accuweather.com
