Former Cos Cob resident Frances Salamon died in Norwalk on Sept. 20 after a brief illness. She was 68.
She was born in Greenwich on Jan. 30, 1942. Salamon graduated from Greenwich High School and went on to become production manager with the Business Journals in Norwalk. She worked there for more than 40 years until retiring earlier this year. She loved animals, especially dogs. Salamon also enjoyed golfing and bowling.
She is survived by her brothers, Peter and John; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial donations can be to the American Cancer Society.
