Former Greenwich resident W. Scott Bartlett Jr. died in his New York City home Sept. 7. He was 90. He was born Feb. 17, 1920, to the late Ruth Fitch Mason, a well-known poet and novelist, and Walter Scott Bartlett.
Bartlett graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1943 and went on to the Harvard School of Business Administration. He was former editor in chief and vice president of E.P. Dutton & Co., a book publishing company. Bartlett was also one of the founding members of the Stanwich Club, a private golf course in Greenwich.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Forman; children, W. Scott Bartlett III and Nathaniel Elliot Bartlett; and three grandchildren. A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, at All Souls Unitarian Church at 1157 Lexington Ave., between 80th and Lexington, New York City.
