Fallen Tree Cleared From Merritt Parkway In Greenwich

Traffic jams were beginning to clear in the area.

original story: GREENWICH, Conn. -- A fallen tree was blocking the Merritt Parkway northbound between Exits 27 and 28 on Monday morning, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said.

The Connecticut State Police and DOT are reportedly on the scene between the exits for Route 120A/King Street and Round Hill Road.

It was not clear how long it would take the clear the roadway.

Heavy traffic delays are reported back into Westchester County.
