Eversource Reports Power Outages In Greenwich Due To Wires Down

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Eversource said a number of customers were without power in Fairfield County late Sunday morning.

update: The power outages have been repaired. 

The following outages were reported at noon Sunday: 

  • Brookfield: 116 customers
  • Greenwich: 2,196 customers
The estimated time for power to be restored in Greenwich was 1:30 p.m., according to Eversource. 

The Greenwich Police Dispatch said Sound Beach Avenue was closed at West End Avenue due to wires and a transformer down.
