Elizabeth C. Romeo, an Old Greenwich resident, died Nov. 4 at Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home at the age of 94.
Romeo was born in Greenwich in May 1916. She spent her life tending to her family and especially enjoyed baking and knitting. Her husband, Dominick Romeo Sr., died in August 1969.
She is survived by her children, Katherine Nielsen, Sam Romeo, Gloria Fiore, Dominick Romeo Jr.; and 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Nov. 8 at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery.
