Ebay Scammer Arrested in the Bronx

An investigation into a series of ebay scams in 2006 led to the arrest of a woman from the Bronx, N.Y., on Tuesday. Greenwich Police Department detectives arrested Tailene Figueroa, 25, of 1819 Waterloo Place, at her home after an FBI fugitive task force located her.

She had allegedly engaged in an ebay fraud for electronics valued at $2,750 in 2006. Figueroa was arrested on an outstanding warrant on charges of third-degree larceny and third-degree conspiracy of larceny.

She declined extradition and voluntarily returned to Connecticut to face charges. She was held on $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 2.

• Ikeda Hideyuki, 24, of 124 River Road Ext., Greenwich, was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hideyuki was the driver of a car stopped for a window tint violation when officers smelled marijuana in the car. During a search of the vehicle, a small amount of marijuana and rolling papers were found in the spare tire well of the car. He was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court Nov. 11.
