DUI Arrest Made After Greenwich Car Crash

GREENWICH, Conn. — Police were investigating a car crash at Havemeyer Lane and Palmer’s Hill Road on Saturday in which a Stamford woman was arrested at the scene on a drunken-driving charge.

Carolina Serna, 29, of 1400 Bedford St., got out of her car and grabbed an officer’s arm to keep her balance, police said. She failed field sobriety tests. She was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and following too close. Serna was released on $250 bond and is due in court July 18.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• A woman was charged with disorderly conduct Monday after an argument between the woman and her boyfriend. The 21-year-old admitted to police she was arguing with her boyfriend and swung a broomstick at him. She was released on a misdemeanor summons and was due in court Thursday.

• Raul Pinedo, 43, of 77 Severance Drive, Stamford, was arrested on drunken-driving early Sunday on Exit 2 off Interstate 95 in Greenwich. Pinedo smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and failed field sobriety tests, police said. He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, traveling too fast and having tinted windows. He was released on $250 bond and is due in court July 11.
