Don't Expect a Winter Wonderland Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – With daytime temperatures well above freezing predicted for the next 10 days, it doesn’t look like Fairfield County will have a white Christmas this year.

Thursday will be unseasonably warm as temperatures reach 53 degrees, with a chance of showers and wind, according to the National Weather Service. Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 48 degrees and a low of 30 degrees.

This weekend, skies will be sunny on Saturday with a high near 42 degrees and partly sunny on Sunday with a high near 39 degrees.

Next week, expect mostly cloudy skies and highs of 47 degrees Monday and 43 degrees Tuesday. Wednesday may get some showers with a high of 46 degrees. The week will finish off around 44 degrees Thursday through Saturday, with possible showers Saturday, which is Christmas Eve.
