Dancers Commemorate Greenwich's 'Arthur Murray Day'

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Dancers showed off their salsa skills in front of Greenwich Town Hall on Thursday afternoon, as First Selectman Peter Tesei declared April 4 "Arthur Murray Day" in town.

The proclamation honored the late Arthur Murray, founder of the largest chain of dance studios in the country.

The Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich is known for teaching ballroom dancing in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
