The construction worker killed in an accident Monday at a Greenwich home has been identified as 27-year-old Eric F. Chinchilla of Victory Street in Stamford.
The accident occurred at 3 p.m. at a house on Macpherson Drive. The specialized Sound Beach Firehouse Trench Rescue Team was sent to the scene. Police did not elaborate on the nature of the accident. Another construction worker received minor injuries.
Lt. Kraig Gray, spokesman for the Greenwich Police Department, said Monday, "The incident is still under investigation, and the scene is awaiting representatives from the Chief Medical Examiner's Office and the Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)."
