A total of 47,475 "winning" Powerball tickets were sold in Connecticut for the drawing. And one ticket — which matched four numbers, the Powerball and the Powerplay — is worth $150,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.
For the rest of the winners: 35 people won $300; 71 people won $100; and the rest won between $4 and $21.
Here are the winning numbers in Wednesday's Powerball drawing: 2 18 37 39 42 with a Powerball of 12 and a multiplier of 3.
The jackpot was worth $460 million, with a $291 million cash option.
The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 6, with an estimated jackpot of $550 million, for a cash payout of $347.9 million, CT Lottery said.
Numbers are drawn Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.
The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot is one in 292 million.
