Dingletown Road near Perkins Road in Greenwich was shut down Tuesday after a Ford Excursion crashed into a telephone pole at 9 a.m. The pole came down and damaged adjacent poles. Six people were inside the car, but no one was injured. The driver has been cited for unsafe movement. Connecticut Light & Power is working to fix the damages, police said, though it is unknown when the road will be reopened.
